Battlefield: A Prophetic Poem and Prophetic Word
October 19, 2007
Cassie Rae Von Lanken

Out of the quiet stillness of the vast unknown, rises the sound of a thunderous army sent from God’s mighty throne.

An army riding on horses stampede the land; they move with force with the might of God’s hand.

The horses move like one with the wind; the soldiers spirits feel that a war is about to begin.

Stretched out in front of them is a land of death; the bones will be raised to life with one blow of God’s breath.

The army stretches across drawing a line in the sand, revealing to the enemy it is in righteousness they stand.

Their red banner stained with Christ’s blood is waved up high for all to see, for it is in the name of Jesus Christ that all who are dead will live and be free.

Their arrows are set on their target, a dry field of death; the tips of their arrows carry the flame of holy fire, ready to consume all impurity, leaving none left.

It will be like the ancient days of Ezekiel, when God turned to life what appeared to be dead; and so it will be like the days of David, when he cut off Goliath’s head.

The moment has come for them to fight and take claim, of what has destined to be theirs by the power of His name.

To God their spirits and lives they yield, by presenting themselves on this battlefield.

And so to God’s chosen ones:
Out of your pain, rise up.  Out of your hopelessness, rise up.  Out of the torments of your past, rise up.  Out of the proclaiming of justice and the goodness of God, you will rise up.  Gather together and take the form of an army for the time for you to lead is now.  The moment for you to fight and to take claim of the destiny God has for you is now.  You were chosen to disrupt the quiet deadness of the barren land.  The enemy you fight are the principalities of death, and the territory of death you conquer and claim will bring forth life.  Be like one with the wind.  Move with the time of the Holy Spirit.  There is no time for foolish, unfocused behavior.  The moment will come like an anticipated gust of wind, like one blow of God’s breath.  Be ready to ride with it.
